Simple one line of code to create a symlink in a linux environment. This has many usages including convenience - e.g. linking into your application environment (Which, of course, is protected), which can then be put in GIT etc
sudo ln -s sourcefile newfile # e.g. # make it so we can get to web root with just 'cd /_' sudo ln -s /var/app/current/ /_ # e.g.2 link pagespeed config to web folder to be more editable in the IDE without loading the entire server root - not ideal for production, but convenient ln -s /var/app/current/MYSECRETPROTECTEDCONF/conf.d/z-pagespeed.conf /etc/httpd/z-pagespeed.conf

Snippets of PHP code I have gathered over the years. I keep them here for my own repository but also to share with others. I always link back when I remember the source.
